Founder & CEO
Michael Berman is the founder and CEO of Ncontracts, a leading provider of risk and compliance management solutions. His extensive background in legal and regulatory matters has afforded him unique insights into solving operational risk management challenges and drives Ncontracts’ mission to efficiently and effectively manage operational risk. During his legal career, Mr. Berman was involved in numerous regulatory, compliance, and contract management challenges and assisted in the development of information systems to better manage these efforts. Prior to founding Ncontracts, he was General Counsel for Goldleaf Financial Solutions, Tecniflex, Inc. and Imagic Corporation. Mr. Berman is a well-regarded speaker at financial institution conferences on risk management. He received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and holds a J.D. degree from the University of Tennessee.
Mr. Kilgore brings a solid knowledge of finance in a global environment and has significant experience in mergers and acquisitions, business process improvements, and has led and supported numerous debt and equity capital raises. Prior to joining Ncontracts, he served as Chief Financial Officer of Movius Interactive Corporation, where he was responsible for all administrative functions including finance, accounting, IT, legal and human resource activities while also supporting and advising on the company's overall strategic direction. Before joining Movius, he served as Vice President, EMEA Finance & Treasury for CDC Software, where he was responsible for all of the finance and accounting operations of their EMEA region. Prior to CDC Software, he held the position of controller for the international operations at Witness Systems where he managed the finance and accounting teams in the UK, India and Hong Kong. Before joining Witness Systems, he was with KPMG in their audit practice. He holds his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration, with a concentration in Accounting, from California State University in Sacramento, and an MBA from Emory University’s Goizueta School of Business. He is a certified public accountant in the state of California.
Mr. Simpson leads our technology development efforts, backed by his acumen in the management and development of large-scale, data-driving mobile and web applications and streamlining software engineering development processes. Prior to joining Ncontracts, he served as CTO of Ingo Money, an organization dedicated to serving the underserved in banking, where his teams built the best-in-class Ingo Money Network mRDC platform. He also held a key banking industry position as Senior Manager of Development of ProfitStars, a Jack Henry Company, leading multiple teams engaged in developing ACH, Check Imaging, and other payment-related banking systems. He has held leadership roles with D&B Company, MDR, and Cerebra, in each position leading the development and implementation of game-changing technologies. He holds a B.S. in computer science from Boston University as well as an executive management and leadership from the Sloan School of Management at MIT.
EVP, Client Services
Ms. Outlaw leads the Ncontracts client support team, vendor account management team, risk services team, and contracts services team by leveraging her wealth of client service and operational experience. Most recently she served as Vice President Services at Symplr, a healthcare SaaS credentialing and compliance company. Prior to that she served as Vice President of Operations at Kroll Background Screening. In these roles, she helped drive initiatives to enhance client satisfaction, improve operational efficiency, and increase revenues and gross margins, all while investing in her teams’ development and success.
EVP, Chief Sales Officer
Mr. Wasyliw is uniquely qualified to lead the Ncontracts sales team given his formidable career as a results-driven C-level and sales executive with companies in the financial services sector. His strategic vision combined with industry knowledge allows him to build and align highly successful organizations and pivot with regulatory disruptions. His prowess for driving increased revenue and performance spans across leadership roles at firms such as Integrity Revenue Group, Tecniflex, and FISI Madison Financial. He is a native of Chicago and a graduate of Northwestern University.
As the Executive Vice President of Marketing Guy has responsibility for the company’s marketing organization, including all brand, communications, digital, demand generation, and product marketing functions. With over 20 years of marketing leadership in companies such as Expedia, Microsoft, and Baxter Healthcare, as well as at fast-growth start-ups such as Marchex, Pushpay and Zenoti, Guy’s career has focused on bringing differentiated products to market and providing the compelling reason to purchase for customers and prospects alike.
Prior to joining Ncontracts, he served as SVP Marketing at Zenoti, the leading provider of SaaS solutions for the beauty and wellness industry. He is a regular blogger, spokesperson, and contributor for publications and thought leadership topics in marketing and technology across the industry.
Guy has a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Illinois.

Nick oversees all new investment activities at Gryphon, working closely across the Business Services, Consumer, Healthcare, Industrial Growth, and Software teams as they identify new opportunities, analyze investment opportunities and conduct due diligence. Nick has led or co-led investments in over 20 Gryphon platform companies which in turn have completed over 50 add-on acquisitions. In addition to the board seats listed above, Nick is also a former Chairman or Director of AlliedBarton Security, Consolidated Fire Protection, DLC, Delta Education, ECG Management Consultants, Flagstone Foods, Miller Heiman, NurseFinders, Staffing Now, SynteractHCR, Trinity Consultants, TrustHouse, and Update Legal.
Operating Partner to Gryphon Investors’ Software Group
Carl joined Gryphon in 2019 as an Operating Partner to Gryphon’s Software Team. He is a seasoned technology executive with more than 25 years’ experience driving rapid growth for software and SaaS companies through innovation, product vision, and execution.
At Gryphon, Carl works closely with the senior management teams of Gryphon portfolio companies to maximize short- and long-term operating and financial performance through strategic, commercial, and operational improvements. He is also a member of the investment review committee and assists Gryphon deal teams in identifying, evaluating, and executing investments. In addition to his board seats listed above, Carl currently serves as a Board Advisor to the board at RichRelevance where he was previously CEO.

Jon is responsible for sourcing, analyzing, executing, and monitoring Gryphon’s software investments across all industry verticals in sectors such as field service management, human capital management, ERP, business management/system of record, and workflow management and collaboration. Under Brian's leadership, AST was honored with the 2018 REBRAND 100 Global Award, developed to highlight the company’s significant expansion of its corporate mission and investment in leading digital technology initiatives as well as the thoughtful extension of business lines and services in recent years.
His award winning leadership started as CEO of Wolters Kluwer Financial & Compliance Services Division from 2010-2015 and as President and CEO of Wolters Kluwer Financial Services from 2005-2010.

His operational experience includes channel, direct, OEM, and hybrid go-to-market strategies for companies with diverse technology offerings from software to hardware to services.
He has run organizations while living in Silicon Valley, Tokyo, Zurich, London, and Boston. Kirk believes that sales strategy is mission critical to a business, but is often a black box to investors, CEOs, and entrepreneurs. He hopes to bring his experience to students while supporting the great work already being done by the Graduate School of Business in delivering a high quality sales strategy education.
