His extensive background in legal and regulatory matters has afforded him unique insights into solving operational risk management challenges and drives Ncontracts’ mission to efficiently and effectively manage operational risk. During his legal career, Mr. Berman was involved in numerous regulatory, compliance, and contract management challenges and assisted in the development of information systems to better manage these efforts. Prior to founding Ncontracts, he was General Counsel for Goldleaf Financial Solutions, Tecniflex, Inc. and Imagic Corporation. Mr. Berman is a well-regarded speaker on risk management at financial institution conferences and the author of The Upside of Risk: Transforming Complex Burdens into Strategic Advantages for Financial Institutions, which is available on Amazon.

Mr. Simpson leads our technology development efforts, backed by his acumen in the management and development of large-scale, data-driving mobile and web applications and streamlining software engineering development processes. Prior to joining Ncontracts, he served as CTO of Ingo Money, an organization dedicated to serving the underserved in banking, where his teams built the best-in-class Ingo Money Network mRDC platform. He also held a key banking industry position as Senior Manager of Development of ProfitStars, a Jack Henry Company, leading multiple teams engaged in developing ACH, Check Imaging, and other payment-related banking systems. He has held leadership roles with D&B Company, MDR, and Cerebra, in each position leading the development and implementation of game-changing technologies. He holds a B.S. in computer science from Boston University as well as an executive management and leadership certificate from the Sloan School of Management at MIT.

Ms. Outlaw leads the Ncontracts client support team, vendor account management team, risk services team, and contracts services team by leveraging her wealth of client service and operational experience. Most recently she served as Vice President Services at Symplr, a healthcare SaaS credentialing and compliance company. Prior to that she served as Vice President of Operations at Kroll Background Screening. In these roles, she helped drive initiatives to enhance client satisfaction, improve operational efficiency, and increase revenues and gross margins, all while investing in her teams’ development and success.

Ms. Guthrie joins Ncontracts after serving in executive and C-level human resources roles with fast-growth companies including Cosential, Alienvault, and Sparefoot. Ms. Guthrie graduated with honors from LeTourneau University and was recently named one of the Top 50 women leaders in SaaS.

Mr. McKee leads the Ncontracts marketing team, where he sets the overall marketing strategy to drive awareness and demand for the Ncontracts suite of products. His focus is on establishing Ncontracts — and its team of experts — as the thought leader and trusted partner in risk and compliance. He brings nearly 20 years of experience building efficient, award-winning marketing teams for fast-growth organizations.
In his previous role, Mr. McKee was CMO at WebPT, a complete platform for rehab therapists to treat patients, stay compliant, and manage payments. In his time there, he established WebPT as the market leader and helped grow the business 6X. Prior to that, he held several leadership roles for fast-growth companies of all sizes, including CareCloud (MTBC), Cohealo, and eDiets. He is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma, who will surely win a CFP National Championship this year.

Rafael E. DeLeon is a vibrant spokesperson with a wealth of knowledge on issues of regulatory compliance and risk management for financial institutions. Prior to joining Ncontracts, he served as the Director for Banking Relations in the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), as well as an OCC National Bank Examiner, trainer, and industry analyst for over 30 years.
As SVP of Industry Engagement, DeLeon is responsible for outreach to regulators, industry leaders, and association partners, training and educational initiatives, and thought leadership.

Mr. Peace is responsible for all accounting, finance, banking, insurance, and legal activities at Ncontracts. He has extensive experience in private equity backed software-as-a-service and technology-enabled services companies, ranging from $20m revenue to large multinational $2.8b revenue organizations. Prior to Ncontracts, he was the CFO of ClearStar, which specialized in background and medical screenings. He has also served as the CFO of CloudNine Discovery LLC, an eDiscovery automation software company, where he led a successful exit after only 7 months with the organization, Mi9 Retail, a private-equity backed global software provider to retailers, as well as Brightree LLC, a software provider to Home Medical Equipment suppliers.

Ms. Amato leads the Ncontracts sales organization, where she sets the overall sales strategy to drive revenue growth and optimization for the Ncontracts suite of products. She brings over 20 years of expertise creating repeatable and sustainable sales process that build high performing, record-breaking, and award-winning sales organizations for high-growth companies.
Prior to joining Ncontracts, Ms. Amato was VP of Sales for the global financial services vertical at Workiva, a cloud-based reporting compliance platform that enables the use of connected data and automation of reporting across an organization. She built on the financial services vertical globally by identifying strategy, products and key accounts and markets to target driving sales revenue in both subscription and services for a decade. Before joining Workiva, Michelle was the VP of Product Development at Guggenheim Partners. Michelle spent the first six years of her career between Morgan Stanley and Bank of America Securities carrying several licenses including a Series 3, 7, 63/65.
A lifelong learner, Michelle has worked with ON Point Next Level Leadership for the past six years, focusing on strengthening her leadership skills and leveling up her sales organizations through mentoring and development programs, two of her passions. She also holds certificates in Negotiations & Decision making Strategies as well as Social Capital from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Carl joined Gryphon in 2019 as an Operating Partner to Gryphon’s Software Team. He is a seasoned technology executive with more than 25 years’ experience driving rapid growth for software and SaaS companies through innovation, product vision, and execution.
At Gryphon, Carl works closely with the senior management teams of Gryphon portfolio companies to maximize short- and long-term operating and financial performance through strategic, commercial, and operational improvements. He is also a member of the investment review committee and assists Gryphon deal teams in identifying, evaluating, and executing investments. He has run organizations while living in Silicon Valley, Tokyo, Zurich, London, and Boston. Kirk believes that sales strategy is mission critical to a business, but is often a black box to investors, CEOs, and entrepreneurs. He hopes to bring his experience to students while supporting the great work already being done by the Graduate School of Business in delivering a high quality sales strategy education.
