Ncontracts Acquires Supernal Software to Bring Customers BSA and Compliance Solutions

When I founded Ncontracts in 2009, my goal was to provide a way to make risk management more efficient by eliminating the unconnected data, duplicated work, and disorganization that limited many institutions’ efforts. I wanted to develop a solution that was simple yet powerful—a centralized system that enabled organizations to collaborate, with departments working together toward the goal of managing risk.

Today, Ncontracts offers a broad array of risk management software solutions, and I’m proud to announce that we’re adding to our offerings with the acquisition of Supernal Software, a LaCrosse, Wis.-based compliance risk management software company serving banks and credit unions. More than 1,500 risk and compliance professionals rely on Supernal to manage risk.

Through this strategic acquisition, Ncontracts will be able to help customers navigate even more hot button regulatory issues, including:

  • Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) through a customizable BSA Risk Assessment
  • ACH and retail payment systems assessment modules
  • Tools to prepare for an IT audit.

Supernal’s products and experts will strengthen our already deep bench.

There’s a reason risk management has become a top issue over the past few years: regulators are making it a priority. From vendor management to cybersecurity, financial institutions are identifying, assessing and mitigating risk in ways they couldn’t have imagined just 10 years ago.
